Motoport makes the Ultra II Jacket in different materials. 1000 Denier Ultra II Cordura, Ultra II Kevlar, Ultra II Air Mesh Kevlar and the jacket found here, the Ultra II Cordura Light. Each one of these jackets have the same appearance/style. The main difference is the materials used to make each jacket. The Ultra II Cordura LightsJacket's entire front/back and outer sleeves are made with a 620 Denier Cordura. Stretch Kevlar is located inside the sleeves and in the back shoulder pleats. When the optional Aero-Tex Jacket Liner is worn, all the Ultra II jackets perform close to the same In cold/wet weather. The Cordura Light material is the tightest weave of all the different Codura/Kevlar blends. This material breathes better than Denim (but not as well as the 1000 Denier that is a more open weave or Stretch Kevlar, which works even better than the 1000 Denier Cordura in hot weather). Motoport’s Mesh Kevlar has the highest rating in hot weather. Compare the Ultra II Cordura Light Jacket with any other.
