This is the most advanced Waterproof/Windproof/Breathable Liner made today. With the Thermoloft Insulation zipped in, temperature range is -20f. to 55f.. Unzip the insulation still be Waterproof and ride from 55f. to 85f. in comfort.
Gore-Tex and other breathable membranes have a 20% or more plastic "Polyurethane" coating on the face fabric. In warmer weather this plastic coating does not allow the material to breathe properly. Our New Aero-Tex Liner has no Polyurethane coating on either the face fabric or inner mesh lining.
A common question is: "What if it's hot and raining and I want to stay dry"? The liner can be left on even in warmer weather. You will still be more comfortable than any other Waterproof/Breathable/Windproof jacket in the world. Without any Polyurethane coating on the outer suit material, the Aero-Tex can perform better. When its over 85F and raining, most riders prefer not wearing the liners.
Some riders comment that they don't like the outer shell getting wet when the waterproof liner is on the inside. The uncoated outer jacket material completely dries in less than five minutes when riding. With the majority of other suits the outer Polyurethane coated shell gets wet before hitting the waterproof membrane. The Polyurethane traps the water, sometimes taking hours to dry. See Polyurethane in the "Dictionary," to learn of all the other problems it causes.
Some riders comment that they don't want to remove the jacket to put on the liner. I don't know of any riders that put on a rain suit before it starts to rain. Trying to put a rain suit over a wet jacket is by far more difficult than simply removing the jacket in seconds, slipping on the liner, and then putting on the jacket over the liner. It is not necessary to zip the liner into the jacket for quick on off situations.
Another reason to wear the liner underneath is that the waterproof membrane breathes much better when it is closer to the skin. Our long distant riders love wearing the Aero-Tex Liners in a sleeping bag or when walking around the campground during cold nights.

Sizing
For correct jacket sizing you need to provide the following measurements:
• Height
• Weight
• Inseam
• Sleeve Length
• Actual Chest
• Actual Waist
• Torso
• All measurements should be taken with only underwear on.
Follow these instructions to measure for correct sleeve length:
1. Take an existing, well-fitting motorcycle jacket.
2. Lay the jacket on the floor with the back down and main zipper facing up.
3. Slide a cloth tape measure under the base of the collar in the center (where the spine of the neck goes up).
4. Go straight out around the outside edge between the jacket and floor around the shoulder and elbow, down to the end of the cuff.
5. Let Motoport know the type of jacket/suit measured, and if it has armor.
6. Note: Some jacket sleeves will preshrink or wrinkle up at the cuffs after wearing. If the cuffs are unzipped and it is possible to pull them down below the wrist, make sure to deduct this extra amount extending past the wrist.
To determine correct torso length, measure from the base of the front neck (just below the Adam’s apple) down around the crotch, to the base of the neck in back (top of spine). These must be exact measurements, with only underwear on.)
Follow these instructions to measure for the correct placement of knee/shin armor and inseam:
1. Sit on your motorcycle wearing denim pants and boots/shoes usually used when riding.
2. Assume your usual “riding position” with your lower body.
3. Put your thumbs and middle fingers together forming a large circle (thumb to thumb, middle finger to middle finger).
4. Place this circle, made with your four fingers together, over the knee to cover the knee properly for riding.
5. Mark the top of the circle on the pant leg with tape.
6. Straighten the knee. From the top tape line go down the leg 5 inches and put another tape line. You have just marked where the knee armor will go.
7. STAY IN A SEATED POSITION and straighten the leg out to the side. Lay the ruler between the two tape lines perpendicular to the pant inseam. Extend the ruler straight over to the inseam of the pant and mark the spot with tape where the inseam and ruler intersect.
8. Measure from the crotch straight down the inseam to the inseam-ruler intersection mark.
9. Measure from the crotch of the pant where it is sewn together down to:
10. One inch above the ankle bone (to keep the pant cuff from bunching up inside the boot when riding), OR
11. To the end of the inseam, adding the amount necessary for proper length (if you want the cuffs to go over the boot).
