Waist Cut Aero-Tex Liner no Insulation

This is the most advanced 100% Waterproof/Windproof/Breathable Liner made. Our new Aero-Tex material has no plastic "Polyurethane" coating on the face fabric. Gore-Tex and other breathable fabric have a 20% or more Polyurethane coating that does not breathe properly in warmer weather.

A common question is: "What if it's hot and raining and I want to stay dry?". The liner can be left on even in hot weather. You will be more comfortable than any other Waterproof/Breathable/Windproof jacket in the world. Without any Polyurethane coating on the outer jacket the Aero-Tex can perform better. Temp range with a t-shirt underneath is 40F to 90F. When its over 85F and raining, most riders prefer not wearing the liners in the rain. The uncoated jacket or pant completely dries in less than five minutes when riding.

Some riders feel that it is better to wear rain gear over the jacket.  Read: Why Have the Aero-Tex Liners on the inside? 

When rain starts it is easy to take off the jacket and put the liner on. This works better than trying to put on a rain jacket over wet gear. It is not necessary to zip the liner into the jacket for quick on/off. Our long distant riders love wearing the Aero-Tex Liners in a sleeping bag at night or when walking around the campground.

  • This is the liner to get if extreme cold weather is not an issue. Wearing good thermal underwear with the Aero-Tex outer shell will allow you to ride down in the teens. Note: Thermoloft zip out Insulation is the best for the exteme cold weather.
